River Creek Country Club: Leesburg Wedding Photography: Meghan and John

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010

I could tell that John and Meghan were meant to live an extraordinary life together. They have an honest love and respect for each other, and have found and fell in love so perfectly. It was beautiful to witness.

At our first meeting, they shared with me what was important to them, how they met, why they are getting married here (he lives in the overseas, and now she does too), and then told me the best story of their engagement. In lieu of their NYC weekend together, he hopped her on the plane to Paris. Being whisked off to Paris for the first time, and coming home with the love of your life.

They asked me to cover their rehearsal dinner, which was insanely beautiful at Confluence Park in River Creek.

Bethesda Family Portraits: 3 Times the Fun

Tuesday, September 14th, 2010

Maya, Ruby and Opal (love all of their names) were so sweet to welcome me into their rooms and playtime. Maya, the oldest, had no issues showing me the ropes and letting me right in with her giggles. Ruby came along for the ride, and sweetly gave me a little love. Opal, well she wasn’t so sure. “Who is this woman?” But we found her happy zone playing with Mom, Dad and Katherine.

Such a sweet family:

Chesapeake Bay Beach Club: Annapolis Wedding Photography: Lauren and Jimmy

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

All I can say is …. BIG SMILES! Lauren and Jimmy are so sweet together. You can tell they are a couple that sees each other honestly, and loves what they see. They have beautiful family and friends to boot.

The Chesepeake Bay Beach Club is a gorgeous venue located right over the Bay Bridge from Annapolis. There were so many little extras that made this wedding even more visually stunning. Having chose navy blue as the main color, they offset it with a gorgeous magenta that just leapt off of the blue. The bridal party carried their magenta bouquets and the men wore navy jackets on top of cream pants (stunning by the water). Jimmy groom wore an beautiful cream (not khaki) suit. Lauren’s perfectly matching gown shined on her!

So much love:
