Northern Virginia Baby Portraits: Baby Blake

Oh Blake–you are precious. And I couldn’t be any happier for this family. Brandon, at eight, was so excited to welcome his brother that he would rather have a brother than skate on the ice at halftime during the Caps game.  And he was excited when his Mom went into early labor just before his big moment to hit the ice. And he LOVES ice hockey. But he loves his brother more. Already.

Brandon knows loss, and I think, because of this, he cares for and appreciates his siblings more. He doesn’t take them for granted, and at eight that is something.

Welcome Blake!

And my favorite, because the eight and one-half year old blanket is definitely “real” if we lived by the rules of the Velveteen Rabbit. That was a blanket?
