Bethesda Family Portraits: 3 Times the Fun

Tuesday, September 14th, 2010

Maya, Ruby and Opal (love all of their names) were so sweet to welcome me into their rooms and playtime. Maya, the oldest, had no issues showing me the ropes and letting me right in with her giggles. Ruby came along for the ride, and sweetly gave me a little love. Opal, well she wasn’t so sure. “Who is this woman?” But we found her happy zone playing with Mom, Dad and Katherine.

Such a sweet family:

DC Family Portraits: Max and Zoe!

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

I met Zoe and Max just less than a year ago when Max so, so little and Zoe just about two years old. Zoe is now an independent (fiercely–she is just my little Nut) and charming little girl with best smiling eyes I’ve seen a long time. Max is a delicious new walker, ready to take the world by storm.

I have so many images to share with them that really tell the story of their life at this moment. The chaos, giggles, tantrums, and need for naps. It’s all so perfect–just as it is. One of my favorite images is of Max pulling a pose out of nowhere. He is ready for GQ. Look at this delicious kid:

Family Portraits at the National Cathedral–Go Penny Go!

Monday, May 10th, 2010

Oh… so much cuteness. I’ve gotten to know Penny pretty well over the past year. When we first met in early 2009, she was so small, and her parents were so new. Now she is a walking, babbling, little angel with a mind all her own.

We first played in the Bishop’s Garden, then rolled into the Cathedral, which was packed with bus tours. We scouted out the 7th floor observation area to find a little privacy for our family.
